Overview

 Started in 2007, Chengdu Rubber, Plastics and Packaging Industry Exhibition has been successfully held for 8 sessions from 2006. In the past 8 years, the organizer launched a series of promotion activities in Sichuan, Chongqing, Guizhou, Yunnan, Shaanxi and other western provinces, while seeking cooperation with the industrial associations and higher institutions. Such efforts paved a solid foundation for the development of this event. Chengdu Rubber, Plastics and Packaging Industry Exhibition has become the most professional event with the increasing influence among the industries in Middle and West China. Each session is highly recognized and supported by the government agencies, exhibitors, associations and professional visitors. The 11th Chengdu Rubber, Plastics and Packaging Industry Exhibition will be held in Chengdu Century City New International Expo Center from the 12th to 14th Oct. 2017. This event is planned to have 1000 stands and reach 30,000m2, expected to attract 400 exhibitors and 20,000 professional visitors. To boost the plastics industry in Sichuan and build this event into an important platform for the new technologies, new products and new processes, Chengdu Lijia Conference & Exhibition Co., Ltd strives to build No.1 exhibition of rubber and plastics industry in continued cooperation with the industrial associations and famous companies nationwide.

  Chengdu is an important city within China’s “Belt and Road Initiative" strategy and Yangtze River Economic Belt. It is an engine driving West Development and the core of Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Zone. It has its unique advantages and strategic position in China’s economic framework. Chengdu has been approved as Free Trade Zone and Inland Railway Terminal. Also Chengdu-Chongqing City Cluster Development Plan has been approved by the central government. 

 Electronics industry: Chengdu is the most competitive IT industry center in China West, the most important integrated circuit industry base in China and one of China’s national software centers. Today Chengdu has established seven industrial chains covering integrated circuit, opto-electronic display, digital audio-visual, electronic devices, computer, network communication products and intelligent terminals. The typical companies in Chengdu include IBM, Microsoft, Motorola, Nokia, Ericsson, Intel, Texas Instrument, Siemens, Dell, Lenovo, Foxconn, Compal and Wistron. The output of Tablet PC will reach 150 million sets in 2015 and the output of notebook will reach 80 million sets, with the revenue expected to exceed 700 billion RMB. These giants are the foundation for building Chengdu into an important city of electronics and information industry in the world.

  Automotive industry: Chengdu has attracted 11 domestic and foreign vehicle companies to establish OEM plants, including Volkswagen, Toyota, Volvo and Dongfeng Shenlong. Nearly 300 manufacturers of critical components have established plants in Chengdu. A platform for an annual output of 1.7 million vehicles has been built up. Meanwhile, Chengdu focuses on
advanced manufacture and plans to set up an annual output of 3 million vehicles in 2025. Finally, Chengdu will become the world famous and China’s No.1 automobile center and also an important booster of Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Zone. 

 Biomedical industry: The biomedical materials and medical equipment are taken as the important industry in the 12th five-year period.The focus will be put on medical materials and consumables, including: medical polyurethane, medical polymer,medical plastics and medical collagen.

  Packaging and printing industry: The packaging and printing industry in China is moved to the west, as the west is abundant in raw materials and human resources.The packaging and printing industry in West China will come to an era of soaring development in the future. The number of packaging companies in Chengdu is increased by 20% averagely per year, from 500 in 2010 to 1200 in 2015. The annual output is increased by 10%. This industry is arranged on the western area. Till 2020, a packaging industry circle on the west of Chengdu will be formed, covering Wenjiang, Chongzhou, Qionglai and Dayi on the west, Xinjin and Pujiang on the southwest, Xindu and Pengzhou on the northwest.
